Party Poker Review

Play Online with Party Poker Party Poker Is the world's largest Internet Poker Room, where players can find over 18,000 players online at any given time. The service is truely remarkable, providing excellent tournament play, good selection of games, slick marketing, customer loyalty programs and perhaps the most intriguing loose tables.

Party Poker has been a pioneer in this industry since opening it's doors in 2001. As the Poker Room revolution began to take place, Party Poker was one of those driving forces that helped to put it front and center. The sheer size of this operation makes it possible to ignore, and the fact that Party Poker has been able to grow and develop one of the premiere poker rooms on the Internet is the reason PRR recommends this service. You will find excellent software, graphics and easy of use with their interface. In addition, they offer a variety of helpful tutorials, and free demos for the novice player.

The reason for Party Poker's popularity and fame has a lot to do with their relationship to the World Poker Tour. They marketed themselves aggressively on the World Poker Tour and became a mainstream household name. Like eBay, one of the reasons that Party Poker remains so popular and so large is because it's so popular and so large. People play there because there are lots of people playing there. Party Poker is a perfect example of the power and advantage of having a large network in today's internet culture.

Party Poker offers a variety of poker games (Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, 7-Card stud, and 7-Card stud Hi-Lo) which are presented in the main lobby area in menu form and has a good selection of single table tournaments and offers multiple table tournaments every 2 to 3 hours. A player first has to decide on the game they want to play, then choose the rules of the game (e.g. fixed limit, pot limit or no limit) and then finally choose the betting range of the game.

Party Poker's software is very easy to use and offers some nice features. In the Lobby, it's very easy to find the game and stakes you are looking for. PartyPoker has a "Hide Full Tables" option so you can choose to see just the tables that have available spots, or all tables. You can also sort the list by the size of the average pot, which is very important in your table selection strategy.

Party Poker's table game interface is solid. Although not the prettiest to look at, the software is very stable and has some nice features, such as right clicking on your opponent and taking notes, and right clicking on yourself and seeing your session's statistics. When you take notes on an opponent, a little yellow sticky note appears on the corner of your opponent. If you sit down at a table, and some of your opponents have that yellow sticky note, then you know you've played with them before and have notes on them. Unfortunately, you must go through the extra step right-clicking on the opponent to read your notes. The statistics is also a nice feature, but the statistics only report for your current session, and you do not have control of keeping those statistics averaged over several sessions.

Betting is very easy on the no limit tables, there is a slider that you can use or a text box to type in your bet. The bet amounts and pot amounts show the actual dollar amounts under the chips so it is very easy to see the dollar amounts and calculate your odds.

Party Poker offers great bonuses. You actually have a choice of bonuses at PartyPoker.com based on how much money you'd like to deposit. You can get $25 for free with any deposit. Or you can get a 20% bonus up to $100. If you're depositing anything over $100, the 20% bonus is the way to go. I always recommend choosing the $100 bonus and making the full $500 deposit. You will want to keep playing there once you've tried it, so you might as well have the bankroll for it to begin with.

To conclude, Party Poker has much to offer the poker player; a huge number of members means you can always find someone to play against, and at a monetary level you feel comfortable. Similarly, if you want to cash in, payouts will be rapidly processed. It is just a shame that support is so lacking for an otherwise excellent site. Play Now!
